Haha, I’ll gladly take the compliment. The patois (I looked up this word) is most likely the result of very little conversation but a lot of action (by which I mean writing) in English, thus resulting in some weird mix with Romanian thoughts forming in parallel, but getting “backgrounded” by the front tasks.
Recently I’ve read somewhere that polyglots do not switch between languages, but instead thoughts are “rendered” in all known languages at the same time and they compete for being picked, the picking being decided by context. This amazed me deeply, but it did provide a lot of insight.
